About the Author
Erika Lei is a former chemical engineer turned artist. At only 11 years old, she lost her mother after a quick, vicious battle with ovarian cancer that took her life.
Twenty years have passed—during that time, Erika’s learned a few things she wishes she’d known back then about navigating life. Take Care Palagi is her attempt to reach those young people, just like herself, who feel endlessly alone and heartbroken—and help them find ways to heal.
Born in Saudi Arabia and raised by Filipino immigrant parents in a small town in Tennessee, Erika now resides in San Diego, California with her loving husband.
